2. Standard Business Class Hosting.
3. E-mail hosting for those that want a domain name and e-mail only.

Even though our servers are located in Myrtle Beach, SC we can still manage your hosting requirements, no matter where you are physically located.

Online Store Systems:

CompuDirect specializes in complex, custom web-based point of sale systems (elaborate shopping cart systems). We handle all aspects from hosting your website to procuring your SSL certificates including any specialized programming that you may need for your particular requirement.

Here are some examples of website / store systems that we have wrote and host:

http://www.printermalls.com: This is our online store system for printer products. It handles millions of dollars of sales annually doing many, many complex tasks automatically. Because this store sells printers nationally, we have adapted the store to calculate state, county and local sales taxes. With over fifty thousand products for sale, we designed the store system to perform quick full text searches using the advanced Solr search engine making searches instantaneous. The store is Google and Bing search engine optimized which will help your customers find your store using the search engine's free listings. Products for sale can be downloaded (manuals, books, other digital content). Constant Contact integration manages users for automated online marketing. The back end management interface has too many features to list but here are a few of them: Non-programmers can add products and information on the site without any specialized software, right from their browser. The order duplicator makes it easy to process orders for your repeat customers. Automated fraud detection checking is accomplished on each order with a suggestion of whether to proceed with the order or not. Discount structures for sale items, quantity discounts and tier level discounts. Twitter advertisment integration creates tweets from the built-in management interface. http://fruit-pearls.com: Fruit Pearls has several very specialized needs. For instance, they ship their products in dry ice from various warehouses all over the US. We wrote programming code to compute where the closest warehouse was to the customer and to automatically compute warehouse costs for shipping containers and the amount of dry ice requireed based on the estimated delivery times.

http://www.akool.us. This company wanted us to integrate our store system into their existing website and we did it. Their store system had to be specially adapted to their needs and has been working flawlessly for years.

Standard Business Class Website Hosting:

For those not requiring an online store we offer standard web hosting at very affordable rates.  Again, your server will be located right here in Myrtle Beach in our computer center. We help you get your site up and running and then we help keep it that way.

There are two basic types of hosting, standard and advanced, determined by your choice of static site or data-driven site.

Our standard web hosting includes:

• No fixed limit* on storage
• Unlimited e-mail accounts

• Your own control panel so you can make changes 24/7 if you wish
• PHP and mysql support
• Domain name purchases and renewals managed by us if you wish
• Domain name transfers for those that already own their domain name

Web Hosting Fee Structure:

Please know that the cost of website development varies with the client's needs. We can develop a simple one page website up to huge websites with any number of pages and with many images / graphs / charts.

The following fee schedule is based upon an HTML site (For a Store System, see above):

BASIC WEB HOSTING: $30/month on annual contract, billed one year in advance. If you would rather go less than a year, we can do that - the price is $50/month paid quarterly in advance. This is a static, hard written web site and is best for sites of under 10 or 20 pages that do not change often. Note there are no practical limits on bandwidth or storage!

ADVANCED WEB HOSTING WITH MINOR SITE MAINTENANCE INCLUDED: This plan includes templates and database-driven website. Price is $45 / month on annual contract, billed one year in advance. If you would rather go less than a year, we can do that - the price is $65 / month paid quarterly in advance. This plan would be great for a small e-commerce store with the addition of an SSL certificate (optional). Note there are no practical limits on bandwidth or storage!

ALL PLANS INCLUDE YOUR OWN E-MAIL ADDRESSES AT NO EXTRA CHARGE.

Website Development and Website Hosting Options:

ONE PAGE SPECIAL: Free website development with the purchase of a one year hosting plan. This type of website is great for disseminating your general information and is enough for many small businesses.

MULTI-PAGE SITES: $250 setup fee plus $75 per page if purchased with a one year hosting plan. Without using our hosting plan, our fee is $350 for the first page and $125 per page thereafter.

SECURE AND REGISTER DOMAIN: $30 for a one year period (upto 10 years max). Even though we register your domain name, it remains your property, not ours. If you wish, we will manage it for you for no additional cost.

SECURE SITE SSL CERTIFICATE:  If you are running a store on your website you will need an SSL certificate. We sell and install these secure certificates on your website hosted through us for $50 per year.

COMPLETE SITE MAINTENANCE:  Includes website minor / routine changes such as moving text around, etc. up to one hour per month. Monthly fee is $25 per month with one year minimum, paid in advance.
